About the role
Amey is seeking a motivated Graduate Civil Engineer to join our growing team in Dubbo. This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate (or soon‑to‑be graduate) to gain hands‑on experience across civil engineering design and project delivery, working alongside experienced engineers who are committed to developing the next generation of professionals.

As a Graduate Civil Engineer, you’ll support a range of civil engineering projects from concept through to delivery.
You’ll work closely with experienced engineers and a multidisciplinary consultancy team, gaining exposure to:
- Civil engineering design, documentation, engineering calculations, and reporting across a range of projects including:
- Urban Development and Built Environment;
- Infrastructure including both Council and TfNSW road projects.
- Liaison with clients, contractors and approving authorities.
Required experience
- A bachelor’s degree in civil engineering;
- Exposure to a range of civil engineering concepts (through study or undergraduate experience);
- Strong IT skills;
- Familiarity with software such as AutoCAD, 12D, Drains and Microsoft Office and/or an ability to learn relevant software programs;
- Strong written and verbal communication skills;
- A methodical approach to problem solving and a high attention to detail;
- The ability to manage priorities, meet deadlines and work in a fast‑paced environment;
- A positive attitude, accountability for your work, and pride in delivering quality outcomes.
